1st Buoy The BlueBoat Iniciative

The initiative seeks to protect cetaceans, with the installation of the first intelligent buoy that, through an acoustic signal, will warn vessels of the presence of whales. This buoy and those that will follow it will also contribute to the collection of oceanographic data. and meteorological data for the study of the impact of Climate Change on the Chilean coast, reducing the public oceanographic data gap that has characterized the eastern South Pacificl.
